Cinemanatee
We are a group of television and film professionals chasing our hopecore dreams of building community and connection through visual storytelling.

Why Cinemanatee?
See that list of huge corporations that we've worked with? No? There's a reason for that. We've worked with big corporations in the past and you know what? We like working with people. We want to work small, we want to work local, we want to enjoy ourselves, and we want to collaborate with our teams.
Key Features
With over four decades of combined film and television experience, from Hollywood blockbusters to documentaries and live television production, to unscripted and reality television; writer/director Eleanor and Director of Photography/Baker Gareth have founded Cinemanatee to bring compassion to an industry that all too often chews up its workers and spits them out .
Cinemanatee was created from a place of deep love for the visual arts, and empathy; not only for the people we work alongside, but also for the subject matters we tackle. We hold that a kinder and more inspiring production is not only possible but better for all.
Productions of all types
We've worked on almost every form of production, from the biggest feature films, unscripted television, live events, music videos, television news, short films, documentary. If you can think of it we've done it.
We're nice
Seriously, it's not just the money thing, we're trying our very best to be our best possible selves.
Experience
We've got well over 4 decades of experience in 5 continents combined in our team. Which is pretty impressive if you think about it, because there's only the two of us. Well, three, but one of us is a dog.
Humans not AI
"Nothing has convinced me of the existence of the human soul so much as seeing what art created in it's absence looks like."
Yeah, no AI.
Equity
Filming is collaborative, and If your job is important enough to exist then it's just as important as every other job. Because of this, we pay everyone the same no matter their role
Umm....
Why do websites need 6 points. How about our dog Ripley? Ripley will starve if you don't work with us.
You monster.
You still here?
That's cool. You know we're not going to make a lot of money right? We'll have a good time and we'll make something beautiful or funny or enlightening or maybe all three at once. And everyone is going to get paid the same as everyone else. And we might make our little corner of the world a slightly better place. And isn't that a worthy goal in itself? We think so, and if you do to, then we'd like to work with you.

This planet has—or rather had—a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
